The Blue Castle: Montgomery, L. M.: 9780770423155: Books ~ "Blue Castle" is for audience that include young teens, "secret romantic" business woman or older generation that loves truly good books. Full of romance and joy as well as seriousness and a bit of darkness this book brings the reader in another world, in another time.

Willawa: Movie Review - The Blue Castle ~ The Blue Castle by the one and only LM Montgomery tends to be overlooked somewhat in comparison to the Anne of Green Gables and Emily of New Moon series. Yet, it's one of my absolute favourite LM Montgomery's and with an older (comparatively) heroine, it just gets more and more relatable.

The Blue Castle book by L.M. Montgomery ~ The Blue Castle is a perfect example of marketing gone very, VERY wrong. Those silly publishers who gave this wonderful book such a tawdry cover and shallow synopsis have done L. M. Montgomery and Valancy Stirling a huge disservice.

Book Review: The Blue Castle / Joan of sarcasm ~ I read The Blue Castle for that signature, flowery Montgomery style, and that’s exactly what I got. Books and Chocolate: The Blue Castle by L. M. The Blue Castle by L.M. Montgomery ~ things mean a lot ~ The Blue Castle reads like a romance, like a fairy tale for adults (the allusions to “Bluebeard” are impossible to miss, but worry not, the creepy factor is absent), and like a satire of small-town life. There were passages that made me laugh out loud, especially the ones about Valancy’s family and their reactions to her change.
