Rebecca is Always Right by Anna Carey - Goodreads ~ First things first: I must admit that I chose to review this book entirely based on its title. What I did not realize is that it is the fourth book in a series that began in 2011 with The Real Rebecca, for which Anna Carey won the Senior Children’s Book prize at the Irish Book Awards.This has its advantages and disadvantages.

I'd say it's like Meg Cabot, if Cabot did adequate research; when I say that, though, I feel like I'm selling The Real Rebecca short. But I'm biased because of a pre-existing friendship with the author, so you really should read it yourself.

I love books like this, and they're always a welcome break from the more serious YA I read. If you're looking for an enjoyable, angst-ridden account of a 14-year-old's life, I think you've found the right book. It's well worth a read. 3.5/5
